Z pojęciem ksenotransplantologii spotykamy się już w liceum, w ramach ciekawostki przedstawianej na lekcjach biologii, następnie uczymy się o niej na studiach medycznych, zgłębiając specjalistyczną literaturę. Jednak czy wiemy, gdzie dokładnie jest jej miejsce we współczesnej medycynie oraz jakie są perspektywy jej rozwoju?
