Zaburzenia motoryczne przewodu pokarmowego – kiedy podejrzewać i jak je leczyć?

Zaburzenia motoryczne przewodu pokarmowego to szeroka grupa schorzeń, która często nadal sprawia trudności natury diagnostycznej i terapeutycznej. Mogą one dotyczyć każdego odcinka przewodu pokarmowego – od ustnej części gardła aż do odbytu [1]. Zdarza się, że zaburzenia motoryki przewodu pokarmowego współwystępują z innymi schorzeniami gastroenterologicznymi. Przykładowo, gastropareza (opóźnione opróżnianie żołądka) dotyczy 10-15% pacjentów dorosłych chorujących na refluks żołądkowo-przełykowy (gastroesophageal reflux disease – GERD), a obie te jednostki chorobowe stwierdza się aż u 28-50% dzieci ze zdiagnozowanym GERD [2]. Podejrzenia zaburzeń motoryki często wysuwane są na podstawie nieswoistych objawów takich jak: zgaga, nudności, wymioty, ból brzucha czy ból w klatce piersiowej [1]. Symptomy te mogą pojawić się jednak w wielu innych schorzeniach. Jak zatem prawidłowo postawić diagnozę i wdrożyć właściwe leczenie zaburzeń motorycznych przewodu pokarmowego?
